Ministry of Emergency Situations helped Iraqi refugees
On Sunday, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations completed the first stage of the operation to transport humanitarian supplies to the Iranian city of Kermanshah to establish a camp for Iraqi refugees there. Four rescue transport planes delivered 110 tents, each designed for 30 people, 25 tons of flour, 12 tons of canned milk, 5 tons of salt, 18 diesel power plants. The entire cargo was transferred to a crisis center established under the Iranian Ministry of Internal Affairs, operating under the auspices of the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. Its representatives will be directly involved in the placement and arrangement of 200 thousand refugees from Iraq that Iran is ready to accept.
