If the city administration does not enter into negotiations regarding the repayment of the arrears in the near future, then within a week the entire regional center will be left not only without hot water, but also without heating.
The current shutdown schedule has been agreed upon with the commission of the Vostokenergo enterprise, which represents the Far Eastern branch of RAO UES of Russia in Kamchatka. According to Kamchatskenergo General Director Yuri Delnov, due to consumer debts, the energy company does not even have the funds to purchase fuel for April. Now suppliers delivering fuel to the peninsula by sea by tankers require 100% prepayment and refuse to supply fuel oil for thermal power plants on credit.
