
Four sappers were killed and one was injured in Ingushetia while trying to clench the Fugas found on the road. This was announced by the head of the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense Nikolai Deryabin.
According to him, at about 10:00 Moscow time on Tuesday near the village of Ali-Yurt in the Republic of Ingushetia, Sapers conducted an intelligence of the terrain before following a military column. A service dog discovered a Fugas laid on the road, RIA Novosti reports.
When a group of sappers approached him for cleansing, the landmine exploded. As a result, four military personnel died, one was injured.
A criminal case has been instituted on the fact of death. At the scene, an investigation is being conducted to establish the causes of the explosion.
