According to a survey of public opinion of the Sociological Service "IPSOS -RAD", 14 percent of its inhabitants are now avoiding to appear in places of large crowds - at sports events, in cinemas, restaurants. 11 percent of the respondents reported that they canceled their trips, 9 percent - appointed visits to the doctor. 9 percent of Toronto residents were forced to abandon trips in public transport, reports ITAR-TASS.
Earlier in Hong Kong, 42 new cases of disease were recorded with acute syndrome of shortness of breath ("atypical pneumonia"). According to the Department of Health of Hong Kong, two patients - women of advanced age - died.
Thus, since March 12, the total number of cases of atypical pneumonia was 842. All patients were hospitalized. 22 people died in Hong Kong from atypical pneumonia.
According to Hong Kong authorities, most patients have a positive reaction to treatment methods used by doctors. To date, 116 patients have completely recovered and discharged from the hospitals. 108 patients undergo intensive treatment under the supervision of doctors.
