The inhabitants of Baghdad went on Sunday to a demonstration of protest against US policy, who do nothing to restore normal life and order in the Iraqi capital. The manifestants accused the US of "they are only interested in Iraqi oil, and they do not want to help Iraq to get to their feet."
Participants in the action said that American troops are passively observing the humanitarian disaster in Baghdad, where looters are operating and there are practically no water, energy supply and communication, ITAR-TASS reports.
US troops did not allow demonstrators to the Palestine Hotel, where foreign journalists live, cordoning off the hotel barriers with barbed wire.
