The proof of this was the convincing victory of the Russians at the international tournament "Baltic hoop", which was held in Riga last weekend. Kabaeva was not equal in the all -around and in exercises with the hoop, and the chashchina surpassed everyone in exercises with a ribbon, a ball and a mace. Chashchina also received an honorary prize of the competition - 'Miss Grace'.

Recall that the leaders of world rhythmic gymnastics, due to a protracted decision on the legality of their disqualification in the Arbitration Court of Sports, could not go to the carpet at the European Championship, held in the German city of Riza two weeks ago. Due to the CAS wire, Russian gymnasts could only return on April 8, while the European championship ended on April 6.

According to the lawyer of the gymnasts Tagira Samakaev, the accusations against athletes are unproven . In particular, doping tests were taken from gymnasts with gross violations of the Anti-Doping Code of the International Gymnastics Federation and, therefore, could not be evidence of the fault of athletes. “The court should not make decisions based only in public opinion. There was a situation in which only the assumptions of the so -called third parties were enough to accuse the athletes, and this despite the fact that there was no evidence,” Samakaev emphasized.

“It is always difficult to return, especially so much time we had no competitive practice,” Alina Kabaeva admitted in an interview with the Riga newspaper Hour. “Even before this tournament, I said that my goal and Irina are not a fight against competitors, but preparation for the new season.”

Last year, the Russian woman, Zarina Gizikova, also became the winner of the Baltic Hungry tournament.
