A gang of people's abductors was detained in Moscow

A gang was detained in Moscow, which was engaged in kidnapping people, the press service of the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime Crime Service of the Criminal Police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia.

The repeatedly convicted leader of the “Lyubertskoy” organized criminal group (organized crime group) nicknamed “Frenchman” and 2 active participants in the gang group were arrested.

The leader of the organized crime group is charged with a person’s abduction and intentional murder. The group members were also charged under the article "Banditism", RIA Novosti reports.

According to GUBOP, in July 2002, gang members stole a resident of Moscow and held him in the country in the suburbs for 3 days, demanding the threat of reprisals to pay them 120 thousand dollars. The victim was forced to issue a power of attorney to the right to dispose of his apartment in the name of one of the participants in the organized crime group.

During the searches at the place of residence of the detainees, the TT pistol, 2 grenades and fake certificates of a freelance employee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and the head of one of the departments of the Ministry of Justice of Russia in the name of the leader of the bandit group were discovered.

Investigative actions continue with the detainees.
