The remains of the last of the missing applicants of the AGTU are identified

In Barnaul, a forensic medical examination identified the remains of the fifth girl - the last of the Altai State Technical University abducted in 2000.

Using the methods of genomic examination and photo -based mixing, the belonging of the remains found in the Kalman district of the region, Lilian Voznyuk, was confirmed. The genomic examination of the skull of the victim was carried out in Moscow.

Liliana Voznyuk came to the Republic of Altai to enter the University from Turkmenistan. The last time the girl was seen in the AGTU building before the entrance exam on July 28, 2000.

In the summer of the same year, four more girls went missing: June 29 - Julia Tekitikova, August 1 - Olga Shmakova, August 8 - Angela Burdakova, August 15 - Ksenia Kyrgyzova. Over the past years, their remains have found in the territory of the Kalmansky district.

Law enforcement agencies note that the remains of Kyrgyz, Shmakova and Techikova lay not far from each other. Apparently, the killer knew these places well, therefore, without fear of being caught, he left the bodies of the dead girls here.

The first examinations did not reveal the belonging of the skull of Liliana Voznyuk, but the prosecutor's office of the region appointed new studies that gave a positive result.

During the examinations, the case of the murder of girls from AGTU was resumed. Then the inhabitants of two villages were interviewed, located near the place of finds of the remains of the victims, but no new data was received.

The main suspect in the case committed suicide

The main suspect in the case was entrepreneur Alexander Anisimov. One of the girls identified in the seller of shoes in the local clothing market of a person who offered her assistance on admission to the university. He allegedly seemed to be an assistant professor of the non -existent "technical department".

The 45-year-old former locksmith, who was retrained into the seller of women's shoes, was taken under surveillance, after which they detained on October 27, 2000. As a teacher, many applicants identified him.

During interrogations, he admitted to the murder of all the girls, said that he met the applicants, introducing himself as a teacher or dean, and then took them out of town and killed them. In the cell, Anisimov tried to hang himself on the cord from the jacket, but he broke off.

And during the investigative experiment on November 1, on Georgy Isakov Street in Barnaul, Anisimov committed suicide - he jumped out of the window of the eighth floor. The investigation still has serious doubts about his involvement in the murders.

Currently, the investigation of the case of the abduction and murder of five applicants AGTU has been suspended, Interfax reports.
