In China, a new method has been developed that allows for one hour to determine the presence of atypical pneumonia in the human body, official Chinese sources said.
The new test was developed jointly by scientists of the Beijing Institute of Genoma at the Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Microbiological Epidemics at the Medical Research Institute of the Chinese Army.
The test is based on the use of artificially modified protein, which allows you to determine the presence of antibodies produced by the body in the body as a response to the infection with the virus of acute difficulty breathing syndrome.
The presence of such antibodies, scientists said, are an absolutely accurate indicator of the presence of atypical pneumonia in the body, RIA Novosti reports.
The new method is believed by Chinese scientists, is completely harmless, it is not expensive and does not require a significant number of components for testing. The exact test results are determined within an hour.
Previously used by the Institute of Microbiological Epidemics of the People's Liberation Army of China, China gave the necessary results after two hours of research.
In continental China, the disease of atypical pneumonia is most common. According to the data published on Sunday, since November last year, 1 thousand 819 cases of infection with a dangerous infection have been registered.
