Orthodox television radio journalists of Russia united

In the Russian State Library in the framework of the eighth All -Russian festival "Orthodoxy on television and radio broadcasting" the constituent conference of the Club of Orthodox television and radio journalists was held today, RIA Novosti reports.

It will include journalists from different regions of Russia, creating materials on topics of religion and morality, clergy, representatives of spiritual, educational funds, cultural figures.

The purpose of the club is to promote the spiritual revival of Russia, "the support and coordination of the actions of its members in the interests of the development of the Orthodox television and radio journalism, the creation of the Orthodox programs of the educational, educational and catechist direction."

The main areas of activity of the club will be ideological support for educational broadcasting, conducting spiritual and educational seminars, information support for Orthodox programs of regional broadcasting, organizing field conferences, lecture cycles, creative evenings and exhibitions, the distribution of printed, audio and video materials of the club.

The club members also intend to promote in every possible way to increase the professional level of television programs, conduct master classes on the basis of the Institute for Advanced Studies of Television and Radio Broadcasting, organize competitions on Orthodox and state-patriotic topics. It is also planned to establish a special annual prize.

The founder of the club was the non-profit charity foundation of the spiritual, cultural and environmental revival "Slavic house at the origins of the three great rivers of the Volga-Dnieper-West Dvina."
