
The gold medal of the eighth all -Russian festival “Orthodoxy on television and radio broadcasting” was awarded the documentary film by Ilya Shakhrai “Old Man” (“RT Alliance”, Moscow), telling about the life of the clergy who passed the Chechen war, RIA Novosti reports.
The award ceremony of the winners of the festival, which was held on May 12-16 in Moscow, took place today at the Danilovskaya hotel.
The second place in the nomination "Telefilm" was taken by the picture about the fate of the last Russian emperor Nicholas the Second called "The Repentance of the door of the opening" (Studio "On the eve", Eagle). The bronze medal of the festival received the television film "St. Righteous Alexei Bortsurmansky" (Artos Foundation, Moscow).
In the nomination "television program", the gold medal is awarded to the television cycle "Sources" (GTRK "Komi Mountains", Syktyvkar), which tells about the history of Orthodoxy in Russia and is given an interpretation of the main ideas of the doctrine. The second and third place was taken respectively by the Volgograd television program "Candle" and the television program "Spiritual conversations" (the company of television broadcasting "AvtoVAZ", Togliatti).
In the nomination "Radio Program" the program "The Holy Rus'" Holy Wife "Perm GRTK" 17 "won.
Many television and radio programs were awarded special awards of various state and public organizations that supported the festival. A number of awarded programs are dedicated to the Monk Seraphim of Sarov , the 100th anniversary of the canonization of which will be widely celebrated in the summer of this year.
110 television films and programs and 17 works on the radio were presented to the competition not only from Russia, but also from Belarus, Ukraine, Moldova and Lithuania. Two Belarusian work received special prizes at the festival for a high level of musical design.
