Oscar owner Helly Berry broke her right hand on the set of Gothic

The star of American cinema, the holder of Oscar for the best female role in 2001 Helly Berry, broke her hand on the set of Gothic in Canada. This was announced on Thursday by the representative of the Warner Brothers film studio Joe Everett.

According to him, an accident occurred during the filming of "one of the episodes requiring maximum physical efforts." Berry was taken to the hospital in Montreal, where the picture showed that she had broken the elbow bone of her right hand and she was given first aid. No additional details have been reported yet.

Filming was designed for nine weeks and the incident occurred almost in the middle of the filming period - in the fifth week of work on the film. Now it is unclear whether Berry can continue to act. She plays the role of a psychologist in the Gothic thriller, who is suddenly accused of killing her husband and one of the patients of the hospital where she works. The film was supposed to be released in October.

This is not the first "production" injury to Helly Berry. On the set in Spain, the last film about the adventures of James Bond - “Die, but not today” - sand came into Helli’s left eye and she had to seek medical help . Then, however, the injury was easy and the actress quickly returned to work.
