Russian President Vladimir Putin considers it possible to form a government by the parliamentary majority.

“I support the general course towards strengthening the role of parties in public life and taking into account the results of the upcoming elections to the State Duma I consider it possible to form a professional effective government based on the parliamentary majority,” the president said on Friday, speaking with the annual message to the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

According to him, the solution of strategic tasks facing the country is impossible without the active participation of political parties, "ITAR-TASS reports.

“I consider the upcoming elections to the State Duma by another stage in the development of our multi -party system, the development towards more openness of intentions, greater effectiveness of actions, more responsibility to the people of Russia,” the president said. “A strong and responsible power based on the consolidation of society is necessary for preserving the country. Without strong power, it is impossible and a breakthrough into the future is also impossible.”

Veshnyakov: For the formation of a government -based government, special legal changes are not required

The Chairman of the CEC of Russia, Alexander Veshnyakov, believes that the formation of the Government of the Russian Federation on a party basis does not require "legal changes".
