| Aeroflot detained someone else's plane
Yesterday, bailiffs arrested in Sheremetyevo and handed over “for safekeeping” a medium-range passenger aircraft Tu-204-100, leased from the Kavminvodyavia airline, a source in aviation circles told INTERFAX. According to him, the actions of the bailiffs were caused by the need to execute a court decision to collect a debt from the Perm corporation Avialeasing, which owns the aircraft, in favor of Aeroflot - Russian Airlines. The source noted that if financial issues cannot be resolved, Aeroflot will have the opportunity to replenish its aircraft fleet with a new type of aircraft, which has not previously been used by the company, to pay off its debts. |
