He was adamant, in the evening of June 5, Igor Klimov in a telephone conversation told the correspondent Kommersant: “We must meet, talk ... I am even sure that in the next two to three days there will be a serious informational occasion that will probably be interested in”

Of course, everyone has long been accustomed to the murders in Russia. Even to the so -called loud - when famous public figures, journalists or large businessmen are killed. Perhaps, only the murder of the Governor of the Magadan region Valentina Tsvetkov is worth the mansion here. But only because the governors were not killed before. But in fact, it is not much different from murders in the field of business: the main version of the investigation considers the conflict in the distribution of quotas for the catch of marine biological resources.
But the murder of Igor Klimov really stands apart. But not at all because he headed the largest defense and industrial holding in Russia, uniting 46 enterprises engaged in the development and production of air defense and missile defense equipment (the authorities "Power" spoke in detail in the last issue). The acting general director had to solve, among other things, the problems of squeezing out the issues of bandits or wandered directors or wandering into any other business - perhaps one of these conflicts became the reason for the murder.
But Klimov’s status was completely atypical for Russian business. Before coming to the Air Defense Concern, he was a consultant (and, in fact, assistant), deputy head of the Russian Presidential Administration, Viktor Ivanov. And this is not just the old colleague of Vladimir Putin under the USSR State Security Committee, this is a person who is part of his immediate environment. President appointed General Ivanov to his Commissioner for the creation of the Air Defense Concern. Ivanov, in turn, appointed Klimov authorized to his authorized person. He was not even an authorized state, he was an authorized president personally, the envoy of his envoy.
They knew all this, and that is why, in spite of any difficulties and conflicts, Klimov managed to achieve the creation of the largest concern in the record for the Russian defense industry. Because by virtue of his status, it was useless to resist: in which case, Klimov brought down the entire power of his hardware influence on the enemy, and if this was not enough, the entire domestic law enforcement system. As a result, federal ministers abandoned their proposals to change the structure of the concern, and the assets of their enterprises were found in the portfolios of directors.
Now it turned out that such a status is not a guarantee of security. That is, earlier in Russia, simply people were ordered by order: deputies, bandits, entrepreneurs, representatives of show business, mayors, governors and their deputies. And now they began to kill the president’s people.

Moscow-Processed
In March 2003, the International Research Company Mercer Human Resource Consulting recognized Moscow as the most dangerous capital of Europe. In the global criminal rating, Moscow takes 32nd place, inferior to a number of Latin American and African cities. I would like to argue with this, but only from the beginning of 2003 21 large custom -made murders were committed in the Russian capital.
"Power" represents the criminal map of Moscow. To create it, based on the publications of the Kommersant newspaper, a list of 250 high -profile custom -made killings that have occurred over the past ten years (since the beginning of 1993) was compiled. As a result of these crimes, 281 people died. As can be seen from the map, the most dangerous areas of the city are Leningrad, Kutuzovsky and Leninsky Avenues, the North and the north-west of the Garden Ring. By the way, housing prices in these areas are 1.5-2 times higher than on average in the city.
