| The annual meeting of Gazprombank shareholders determined the new composition of its board of directors. The council included Chairman of the Board Andrey Akimov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Gazprom Alexander Ananenkov, Chief Accountant of Gazprom Elena Vasilyeva, Head of the Property Management and Corporate Relations Department of Gazprom Alexander Krasnenkov, Head of the Corporate Finance Department of Gazprom Andrey Kruglov, Chairman of the Board company Alexey Miller and chief of staff of the Gazprom board Mikhail Sereda. The former chairman of the board of Gazprombank, Yuri Lvov, who joined the board of directors in November 2002, was not among the candidates proposed to the meeting. It was not possible to clarify Mr. Lvov’s new place of work yesterday. By decision of the meeting of shareholders, Gazprombank will pay dividends for 2002 in the amount of 57.74 rubles. for each share with a par value of 1 thousand rubles. The bank's pre-tax profit for 2002 amounted to 3.4 billion rubles, which is more than three times higher than in 2001, when dividends in the amount of 11.92 rubles were paid per share.
