“Elusive” is a concert by Zulya, a Tatar singer who now lives on the island of Tasmania (Australia). Zulya is one of the best performers of Tatar and Australian folk songs. In 2001 she was recognized as singer of the year - Australian World Music Awards, and in 2002 as best performer in the World Music genre - Australian Live Music Awards. In her work, she harmoniously combines different ethnic motifs, including Latin American and African. In today's concert, along with Zulya, Andrew Tanner (double bass), Gennady Lavrentyev (violin, guitar, tabla), Aidar Gainullin (bayan) and Ilya Pokrovsky (drums, percussion) will play. Electro-party radio station RFI (France). The annual RFI award for the best DJs in Europe is taking place in Moscow this year. Tuck & Patti (USA). On July 21-23, festive concerts will take place in honor of the fifth anniversary of Le Club, the main jazz venue in Russia. On these three nights, the club will feature the American duo Tuck Andress (acoustic guitar) and Patti Cathcart (vocals). Both jazz musicians played in different ensembles and recorded records until they met. This meeting, according to both, turned their lives around, because they found in each other what they wanted to do in music. Only with the help of their voice and guitar, musicians are able to get the audience going right away, and at the same time record excellent jazz and rhythm and blues records. Stratovarius (Finland). The band members live in different cities around the world (the band has existed for about 20 years), and when they get together, they play such metal that even the Japanese couldn’t resist. During the 2003 World Hockey Championship in Suomi, excerpts from the group's songs filled pauses in matches. The exhibition, built on material from the Tretyakov Gallery's graphic collections, demonstrates both recognized masterpieces and little-known works.
