
Two police officers of the Novgorod Internal Affairs Directorate, who were on a business trip in Chechnya, were injured in varying severity as a result of a terrorist attack committed near the village of Alkhan-Kala in Chechnya.
As Interfax reported on Saturday in Grozny District Department of Internal Affairs, at the time when the engineering unit checked the roadside of the road in order to identify the landlords established by militants, an unknown explosive device occurred. The miner-explosive wounds received the senior warrant officer and the junior sergeant of the police. Both of them have provided the necessary medical care, at present their life is out of danger, noted in the police department.
Immediately after undermining, the bandits began to shell an engineering group of automatic weapons from different points. At the same time, two inhabitants of the village of Alkhan-Kala-a teenager and a 40-year-old woman received severe injuries. Currently, they are provided with the necessary medical care in the 9th clinical hospital of Grozny, the police said.
