Heroin for $ 2 million was seized in the suburbs

More than 220 kg of heroin was seized by FSB officers in the suburbs in a truck who was in Moscow.

The day before, a KAMAZ truck was detained in the Orekhovo-Zuevsky district of the Moscow region during the operational information audit. During the inspection, it was found that the gas tank of the machine has a double bottom.

“When examining the car, a cache was discovered, camouflaged under an additional gas tank behind the driver’s cab.” Said Boris Gryzlov, Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia. “There were 220 kilograms of pure heroin in the cache.”

Employees of the FSB in Moscow and the Moscow Region, together with local police officers, detained three people - a truck driver, a native of Kyrgyzstan, and his two satellites, natives of Tajikistan who were in the car, ITAR -TASS reports.

The examination showed that the seized substance is really heroin. The weight of the "cargo" was about 220 kg. The cost of so much heroin in the "black market" is about $ 2 million.

“This is the largest amount of heroin, which was delayed by employees of the internal affairs bodies ever,” Gryzlov said.
