Simatin will not return to Bordeaux

Russian footballer Alexei Smertin, who is now training in Moscow along with Lokomotiv, while refusing to return to his club - French Bordeaux, motivating this with the possibility of moving to another team. This was reported today by the Bordeaux leadership, whose players have already held two matches in the championship of the country.

The club’s authorities agreed on this issue with the head coach Eli Bop and did not mind letting Alexei into the Moscow Torpedo, the fact of negotiations with which they confirmed. But at the moment, after the refusal of the current leadership of Torpedo, to sell shares to influential business structures, the fate of Smertin remains uncertain.

The Bordeaux reported that Alexei was negotiating with another team, the name of which, however, was not disclosed. The authorities of the French Club continue to meet death, but insist that this situation be resolved as quickly as possible, ITAR-TASS reports.
