"According to the organizers of the salon, up to 700 thousand people visited the air show. These are not high, these are objective figures. The flight program of the air show is unique and has no analogues in the world," Voskoboinikov said at a final press conference on the closure of MAKS-2003.
A record number of aircraft was presented at the current salon - on the ground and in the air, viewers and participants saw more than 200 aircraft and helicopters of various class and purpose.
498 enterprises of Russia and the CIS and 165 companies from 38 countries of the far abroad showed their new developments in the field of aviation and space equipment.
Participants in the cabin got acquainted with the aircraft of the "SU" generations "4" and "4+". “The weapon was seized, and they will receive it after the working day of the cabin,” she said. “It is another matter that several dozen people tried to carry knives. Cold weapons were seized, 24 gas cans were also seized.”
