Conflict in Spanish football is exhausted

The Spanish football championship will begin on August 31. According to RIA Novosti, citing the Marca Spanish newspaper, a conflict between clubs and television, which threatened to disrupt the national championship, is allowed.

The crisis broke out due to the fact that 30 football clubs of the first and second divisions of the Spanish League sought a more fair distribution of deductions for showing national television of their matches. The clubs were unhappy with the fact that they should receive only 84 million euros for the broadcast of their games for the season, while the share of 12 football faces, including Real Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Valencia, Deportivo allocated 228 million, the newspaper notes.

Meanwhile, most "modest" clubs are in a difficult financial situation, they have large tax arrears and large debts to football players. Some this season has already ruined and ceased to exist or switched to an amateur level, in particular, Ovedo, in which Viktor Onopko, a record holder for performances for the Russian national team, had previously played.

Representatives of the “offended” clubs demanded from the media company “Sokhekabel”, which is a monopolist of the football show on Spain television, to increase the amount of deductions to 93 million euros. In turn, 12 football grandi said that they were quite happy with the fact that the company increased payments to them this year by 64 million. They made it clear that they were ready to enter the field on Saturday and without the rest of 30 clubs, as their matches are watching 95 percent of football lovers.

The Higher Sports Council of Spain, which exists under the government, said that he was not going to interfere in this dispute, which, in his opinion, is a "private affair" of its participants. As a result, Saechablah announced her readiness to increase deductions to 30 “modest” clubs to 90 million euros, after which the players agreed to play in the Championship of Spain.
