For filming the horror film "Rat-2" 320 German rodents will come to Lithuania

The participants of the horror film "Rat -2" will be brought to Lithuania - 320 rats. The continuation of the film is also shot by a German film company. The project also participates in the Lithuanian film studio, writes the Lietuvos Rytas newspaper.

According to the publication, the filming of the film "Rat-2" will last in Lithuania for 35 days. 17 actors will be employed in it, including Lithuanians. The scenes in which rats attack the city, as well as the struggle of people with rodents will be shot in Vilnius. All scenes with rats will be shot in the pavilions of the Lithuanian film studio. The Lithuanian film studio already has permission to import 320 rats and three dogs from Germany. After the filming of the rat will be taken out of Lithuania. Rats will be delivered by ferry to the Klaipeda International Marine Crossing.

The first part of the rats was shot in Prague. According to his plot in Frankfurt, severe heat itself has been established over the past 150 years. And the city authorities have to save on garbage harvesting in this difficult time. Global warming and workers' strike kills a rich but exhausted city. Piles of garbage rise like unconquered mountain peaks.

In such conditions, the city is flooded with rats. They are selected from underground communications and walk around where they will please them. In addition, rodents are carriers of a serious infectious disease. Rescuer Dobock (Ralph Hurfort) becomes a member of a special detachment to combat rats. All its participants are professionals with a huge number of unique knowledge about these aggressive rodents. However, this time they were faced with an unprecedented threat.

This film is a variation on the theme of the "epidemic" of Wolfgang Petersen with the participation of Dustin Hoffman and Rene Rousseau. In order to withstand the viral threat to Frankfurt doctors, it is necessary to find antibodies and make a vaccine. At the same time, rescuers prepare an operation to destroy all city rats.
