Putin and Musharraf at a meeting in Malaysia remembered New York traffic jams

Russian President Vladimir Putin during his foreign tour held a working meeting in Malaysia with Pakistan President Peresa Musharraf.

“Unfortunately, we were not able to meet in New York, but it is not scary, taking into account the interest in the development of bilateral relations and within the framework of international institutions, we will always find the opportunity to discuss the issues of interest to us,” the head of the Russian state said at the beginning of the conversation.

Answering the question of journalists whether Russia intends to join the negotiation process on the Kashmir problem, Vladimir Putin said that he had just spoke on this subject with President of Pakistan and invited Pakistan Prime Minister to arrive in Moscow on a visit.

“We also said on the problem of Kashmir, I have something to convey on this topic and my Indian colleague. Russia has always played a positive role in the development of relations between India and Pakistan, and will continue to play the same positive role,” Putin emphasized.

Answering the question of how Pakistan refers to relations with Russia, Perevez Musharraf said that he was satisfied with the development of mutual relations. “I especially want to emphasize that after my visit to Moscow we witnessed the positive development of relations and their tonality. Hatam expressed the hope that Russian-Iranian meetings will become more frequent and regular in the conditions of rapidly changing relations in the region. He also thanked Putin for the position that the President of the Russian Federation takes in relation to Iran.

Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Summit OIC in Malaysia on Thursday met with King Morocco Muhammad VI and had a brief conversation with him. This was announced to reporters by the press secretary of the President Alexei Gromov.
