| MAP will check customs at the border
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Policy and Entrepreneurship Support (MAP) will conduct a study to limit the access of insurance companies to the issuance of compulsory motor liability insurance policies at customs posts. As the deputy head of the MAP Andrei Kashevarov reported, the order to conduct an analysis on this issue was sent to the territorial offices of the ministry. According to him, such an analysis in relation to the State Customs Committee (SCC) will be carried out throughout Russia: in relation to territorial border services - in border zones, in relation to the traffic police - everywhere. In some territories, MAP has already received requests from the relevant divisions of the FSB regarding the State Customs Committee, which created the insurance customs broker Rostek. He has entered into contracts with seven Russian insurers out of 146 licensed under MTPL, and represents their interests in the sale of policies at the border. This gave grounds for other companies holding MTPL licenses to send complaints to MAP. "TIME FOR NEWS"
