Bavaria midfielder ended up in a psychiatric clinic

The football player of the Munich Bavaria Sebastian Daisler, who was diagnosed with depression on Friday, was out of order until the end of the year. Such an assumption was expressed by the head coach of Bavaria Ottmar Hitzfeld, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the German press.

“This is a big loss for us,” said Munich mentor. “I think Daisler will not return to the field until the New Year.”

Now the 23-year-old midfielder has to undergo a course of inpatient treatment in one of the Munich clinics.

Daisler is considered one of the most talented football players, but throughout his career he was persecuted by various injuries. It is possible that this circumstance, and, possibly, the criticism of the German press addressed to his psyche of the player.

Hitzfeld noted that Daisler really experienced pressure from the media.
