The Ministry of Economic Development is preparing a bill on the new zoning of the North and the Arctic, in accordance with which the number of territories on which the Northern Provincials pay will be reduced, tomorrow's “Independent Gazeta” writes. Now 62% of the country's area are classified as northern. The government is worried that such regions are 28, and the salary coefficients exist in 41 region. As a result, according to the estimates of the MART, budget losses amount to 64 billion rubles.
