Also, Abdul Hakim Sultygov was dismissed from the post of special representative of the President for Human Rights in Chechnya. As noted in the Presidential Administration, this is due to the fact that the legitimate president, Akhmad Kadyrov, was elected in Chechnya, who bears all responsibility for ensuring human rights in the republic. Ombudsman Oleg Mironov believes that Pastukhov’s resignation will not affect the situation in Chechnya.

In addition, Dmitry Rogozin was released from the duties of the special representative of the President on the problems of the Kaliningrad region related to the expansion of the European Union. This is due to the fact that the main tasks of Rogozin in this post were solved, and his work was recognized as “very satisfactory,” the presidential administration said. A dispute with the European Union for the abolition of visas for Russians moving between the region and the rest of Russia ended in the fact that simplified transit documents were introduced.
