Kafelnikov is able to perform for another three years

Evgeny Kafelnikov is quite capable of acting, primarily in paired tournaments, about three more years. This opinion was expressed today at a press conference in ITAR-TASS, President of the Russian Tennis Federation Shamil Tarpishchev.

“This entirely depends on the moral and volitional qualities of Kafelnikov,” said the President of the FTR. “That is, he needs to learn how to play tournaments selectively, but for this you need to be able to maintain a form in the extra -permanent period. And he again played the tiles instead of training in tournaments.”

Thus, according to the President of the FTR, the question of the final end of the career, taking into account the above, depends only on Kafelnikov himself.

Tarpishchev also noted that playing in the Davis Cup without Evgeny Kafelnikov will be very difficult. “The match in Belarus will be very difficult in the sense that for the first time after many years we will play without Kafelnikov,” said the mentor of Russians. “The Sochi will go as part of the team as an assistant coach.”
