For drug storage, affairs have been initiated against officials of the Ministry of Defense

In relation to a number of officials of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, responsible for the storage of narcotic drugs in the central warehouse of the North Caucasus Military District, criminal cases have been instituted, the head of the Main Directorate of the State Directorate of Russia in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Lazovsky said.

Lazovsky recalled that violations in the storage of narcotic substances in the warehouse were identified several months ago and, according to its forecasts, the investigation of the case should be completed by mid -March, RIA Novosti reports. There were no and still no licenses for the storage, movement and destruction of drugs, which caused violations that allow narcotic drugs to get out of control and spreading into illegal circulation, Lazovsky said.
