Dozens of Iran citizens are sitting in Iraqi prisons

The US military hold four Iranian border guards and dozens of other Iran citizens in Iraqi prisons. This was announced on Thursday by a special committee for the liberation of citizens of the Islamic Republic.

According to the committee, only in the Iraqi prison Abu Carib is now about 15 Iranians, not all citizens of Iran are freed from other prisons located in Iraq.

Among the Iranians held by the American troops, the pilgrims, crossing the Iran-Iraqi border and detained without any good reasons, say in the committee. Among the prisoners there are prisoners of war, RIA Novosti reports. More than nine months ago, militants of the terrorist organization of the Mujahideen of the Iranian people, who, according to the committee, enjoy support from the United States, abducted four Iranian border guards, and then transferred them to the Americans.

Meanwhile, as noted in the committee, representatives of the military command of the American forces based in Iraq refuse to confirm the fact of the detention of Iranian border guards.
