Singer Nikolai Baskov leaves Russia

The famous singer Nikolai Baskov leaves for Spain. Thus, his concerts, which will be held from March 6 to 8 at the State Kremlin Palace, will become farewell. Soon after these solo performances, the artist leaves Russia.

The singer reported this on Wednesday in an interview with ITAR-TASS, emphasizing that he was not sent to the Iberian peninsula forever, but only for a few years.

According to Baskov, such a flattering proposal was made to him by the famous Spanish Opera Primadonna Montserrat Kabalier, who will give lessons of skill to the Russian artist.

Under the leadership of the singer Basque, he is going to master a serious opera repertoire in order to further sing in the operas of Puccini, Verdi, Donizetti in the theaters of Madrid and Barcelona.

The singer says that in the Bolshoi Theater, where he is a soloist, he is practically not involved. In addition, Baskov said, there are few performances in Gabta repertoire in which he would like to take part. He is mainly forced to realize himself on the stage.

Concerts, which in early March will take place in the GKD, will become not only farewell, but also anniversary. "And I am already 15 years old" - the singer’s new program is called, which, of course, indicated not his age, but the artist’s creative experience.
