Leaders of the Russian financial market

This year will mark the third annual awards ceremony for the laureates of the “Financier of the Year” program. The program is conducted by the editors of the magazine “Finance of Russia”, with the participation of the Committee on Credit Institutions and Financial Markets of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Guild of Financial Managers. The project administrator is the Interpress-Novosti Publishing House (publisher of the Finance of Russia magazine).

The strategic goal of the program is to help increase the authority of the leaders of the largest Russian financial organizations in the eyes of business partners, potential clients and government agencies, as well as to consolidate the company’s reputation as a leader of Russian business in the minds of the domestic and international public. The laureates will be awarded in the following categories: “Stock market and investments”, “Corporate finance”, “Insurance”, “Audit, consulting and education”, “Pension business”, “Lending”.

The results of the “Financier of the Year 2003” program will be summed up in March 2004. Applications for participation in the program are accepted until March 19, 2004.

The winners will be determined by the Expert Council, which includes deputies of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, representatives of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Taxes and Duties, the Bank of Russia, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Guild of Financial Managers, editors-in-chief of leading business media, and independent experts.
