According to one version, a fire in the Manege building in Moscow could arise due to the exploding firecracker.

According to Interfax on Monday, a source in the law enforcement agencies of the capital, at present, experts as one of the versions are considering the possibility of a firecracker in the auditory window, which was located in the attic of the arena.

“We do not exclude that someone from a large number of walking on Manezhnaya Square could accidentally get a firecracker in the auditory window under the attic in the arena, which led to a fire,” the agency’s interlocutor noted.

In addition, among the versions of the fire in the arena, a short circuit in the electrical wiring is currently being considered, as well as the closure in the ventilation system, which could lead to a fire.

The press secretary of the mayor and the Moscow government, Sergei Tsoi, said that an investigation group has already been created as part of representatives of the FSB in Moscow and the Moscow Region, the Central Internal Affairs Directorate and the prosecutor's office of the capital, which will have to identify the causes of the fire.

“In any case, the perpetrators in this tragedy will be determined and punish,” said Sergey Tsoi.

According to him, "firefighters and other operational services of the city quickly, harmoniously and clearly worked when the consequences of this emergency occurred and eliminate."

The disassembly of the rubble formed as a result of the collapse of the roof of the arena, as well as the export of its charred structures will be completed by the end of the current week.

Alexander Veshnyakov: A fire in the Manege could be a provocation

Meanwhile, the head of the CEC of the Russian Federation, Alexander Veshnyakov, did not rule out that the fire in the Central Exhibition Hall "Manege" is a provocation. It should be noted that some eyewitnesses of what happened on Manezhnaya Square said that the fire began with the fact that "the streams of flame literally ran directly under the roof of the arena." This was told by Kommersant Tamara Mishenkova, who sold toys on the street and felt the smell of smoke.

According to the woman, she saw that black smoke was coming from from under the roof of the arena. She walked around the building and was amazed, as in her eyes a stream of flame literally ran right under the roof.
