Governor of the Nenets Autonomous Okrug Vladimir Butov calls for defending the interests of the indigenous peoples of the North. He called on members of the Yasavey (“Going Ahead”) association, which unites representatives of the indigenous people of the North - the Nenets, to act more actively in the interests of the indigenous people of the North. “Over the past three years, the president of the association has never once approached me with serious questions or proposals,” said Vladimir Butov.
