Forecast for the coming days

The temperature regime in central Russia will be two to three weeks ahead of the calendar. We owe this warmth to the March sun, but it won’t have long to shine in full force. The Central Federal District will be in the precipitation zone of the Mediterranean cyclone. At the same time, southerly winds will prevail in most areas. The weather will remain very warm. On Saturday in the center of Russia there will be occasional precipitation, daytime temperatures will be +4...+10°C. On Sunday, the weather will not change significantly, and in the central regions of Russia, as the cyclone retreats to the northeast, the rains will gradually stop.

In Moscow, light rain in places, +7...+9оС during the day, south-east wind, 5--10 m/s, gusts up to 15 m/s in some places. On Saturday, cloudy weather will prevail, with occasional rain, temperature at night +3...+5оС, in the region +1...+6оС, during the day +3...+5оС. On Sunday, mostly without precipitation, daytime temperature +7...+9оС, in the region +5...+10оС, western wind, 3--8 m/s.

In St. Petersburg today there will be precipitation in the form of rain and sleet, the temperature during the day will be +3...+5оС. On weekends there is light precipitation, temperature at night -1...-3оС, during the day +2...+4оС.

Weather and health

Today the geomagnetic background will remain calm, but on Saturday and Sunday it will be disturbed, which will become the main cause of illness in weather-dependent people. In most of the European territory of Russia, with the arrival of the southern cyclone, the weather will remain warm, but atmospheric pressure will decrease and air humidity will increase. This will reduce the oxygen content in the air.
