The biography of the writer

Arturo Perevo-Reverte was born in 1951 in the Spanish city of Kartate. From his father, he inherited the passion for the trip, and from his grandfather - a huge library. In his youth he was fond of underwater swimming, engaged in diving, and now he has become an obsessed yachtsman.

In the 1970s he worked on a tanker-tanker, then he became a journalist. As a military correspondent of the daily newspaper, Pueblo visited a number of African countries, including in Western Sahara and Equatorial Guinea. It was twice declared missing - in Sahara in 1975 and in Eritrea in 1977.

He worked as a military telecorrhever on RTVE, conducted reports with Cyprus, from El Salvador, Nicaragua, Chad, Lebanon, Sudan, Mozambique, Angola, from the Persian Gulf and Bosnia. Then he moved away from journalism and began to write exclusively fiction.

He does not play a role, does not put on masks. Each book is the result of his own life experience, according to the press release of the publishing house Eksmo.
