Italy is trying to add to the "Black" list of the European Union to "Red Brigades"

The Italian authorities made the initiative to include the extremist left group "Red Brigades" in the "black" list of terrorist organizations compiled by the European Union.

A joint statement by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Italy says that the proposal for the “red brigades” was prepared by the responsible government organizations in conjunction with state security bodies. In the near future, the proposal will be transferred to the relevant structures of the European Union.

The statement also states that the introduction of “red brigades” in the list of terrorist organizations operating on the territory of the European Union will help the security services of the European Union to effectively resist the activities of this Italian terrorist organization.

"Red Brigades" is a left terrorist organization, on the account of which a number of terrorist attacks in Italy in the 1970s - 1980s. The activity of the "Red Brigades" came in the seventies, political killings followed sabotage, RIA Novosti recalls.

The “Red Brigades” shot the leader of the Christian Democratic Party of Italy, the prime minister of the country of Aldo Morotsky, 54 days after the abduction in March 1978.

After the murder of Aldo Moro, this network, which included up to 1000 people, was defeated for two to three years, and its leaders were behind bars.

"Red Brigades" exist in Italy today, again terrorizing the inhabitants of the country, after the almost fifteen -year period of calm in their "activities". On the account of the activists of the “brigades” of the murder of government advisers to Massimo Danton in 1999 and Marco Bjaji in 2002.

Near their bodies, the police found a "corporate sign", which the militants of the "Red Brigades" leave at the places of terrorist attacks - a five -pointed star and the inscription: "The goal is amazed."

As Italian special services admit, the connection of today's activists of the "new red brigades" with those acting 25 years ago, is not obvious.
