The final series of the Russian Hockey Championship received its continuation in Omsk. Local "hawks" in the third match managed to outplay the Magnitogorsk Metallurg by shootouts and minimize the lag in the series to three victories.
Two defeats in Magnitogorsk put themselves in an extremely difficult position - any mistake could become the latter for the "avant -garde". However, despite the huge psychological load, the owners of the Viktor Blinov VKK did not allow Magnitogorsk residents to solve the outcome of the final series in three matches and presented the intrigue with Russian hockey fans.
As in the second match of the series, the rivals, despite the fairly open and spectacular hockey, could not identify the strongest either in the main time or in overtime. In the first period, the shock link of the “hawks” led by Maxim Sushinsky brought the hosts forward, but in the second twenty -minute the Czech was equal - 1: 1.
Despite the efforts attached in overtime, the Vanguard failed to avoid participating in the post -match "Lother", which was deplorable for them two days ago. However, for this time, luck was on the side of the wards of Valery Belousov, and Maxim Sokolov managed to surpass his Canadian visa, Norma Marakla's goalkeeper. The author of the victorious bullet of Omsk was Prokopyev.
The fourth final match will be held on April 8 in Omsk.
