Explosion in Kashmir: 9 dead, 57 wounded

As a result of the explosion of a powerful grenade during the election rally in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, 9 people were killed, another 57 were injured, including two state -owners and journalist. The condition of twenty people delivered to hospitals is evaluated as critical.

The extremist Muslim group "Movement for the salvation of Kashmir" took responsibility for this terrorist attack.

According to ITAR-TASS, the incident occurred in the city of Uri, located 17 km from the control line dividing Kashmir into the Indian and Pakistani zones.

Muslim terrorists noticeably activated in Jamma and Kashmir in connection with the approach of the general early elections, which will take place in late April - early May of this year.
