Until the end of the year, work will be focused on two shallow culverts (V-3 and V-6) and on a piece of the dam between Kronstadt and Gorskaya.
Touching upon urban problems, Mr. Averchenko assured that the priority objects for the North-Western Directorate of Gosstroy (its new name is still unknown) will be the Shuvalov Palace, the Smolny Cathedral, the Botanical Institute and the Peter and Paul Fortress. The federal program “Dilapidated Housing” will not bypass St. Petersburg either, but Mr. Averchenko did not disclose the scale of resettlement, as well as the amount of funding, yesterday.
