“In readiness to ensure good weather over Moscow on Victory Day are more than ten aircraft of the air forces,” said Colonel Alexander Drobyshevsky, head of the Air Force press service.

"The IL-18 plane has special equipment that allows you to assess the state of clouds, which is necessary to select the appropriate reagent," the head of the Air Force press service said.

Nikolai Pavlov, head of the housing and communal services department and the improvement of the capital's government, said that if the forecast of weather forecasters is justified and rained in the capital, ten aircraft equipped with the necessary equipment will be raised into the air.

Earlier, the General Director of the Hydrometeorological Unit of Moscow and the Moscow Region, Alexei Lyakhov, said that on Victory Day in the capital there will be cloudy weather and, perhaps, short -term rains will pass.

“With a high degree of probability, it can be argued that on May 8, 9 and 10, short -term rains will be held in the capital, though they will be short -lived and warm,” said Lyakhov.

He also added that on May 8 and 9, the air temperature in the capital will be 17-22 degrees of heat. According to Lyakhov, it is now impossible to predict in which area it rains in the capital on a holiday in the capital.
