May 9 in Grozny will be a military parade

Festive events dedicated to Victory Day will be held in Grozny on May 9, the First Deputy Mayor of the Grozny Abdulkakhir Israilov told Interfax.

"On May 9, at the stadium of Dynamo's hand games, a festive parade of employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Chechen Republic, as well as a festive concert with the participation of the artists of the Chechen Philharmonic," Israilov said.

According to him, 420 veterans of war living in Grozny will receive gifts for the holiday.

At the festive events, the leadership of the Republic, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Grozny administration will be present, Israelov noted.
