In Latvia, a new wave of repressions against Russian school defenders began

In Latvia, a new wave of repression against the defenders of Russian schools began. The right -handed Party, which is part of the government, demanded on Thursday to deport the activist of the headquarters from the country in defense of Russian schools Alexander Kazakov.

In a letter addressed to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Latvia Ericks Yekabsons, deputies from the People’s Party claim that Cossacks "are engaged in activities harmful to the interests of Latvia."

Today, the Latvian Sejm decided to be allowed to punish in administrative order of three opposition deputies from the Russian -speaking association "For Human Rights in the United Latvia", including the chairman of the faction of Yakov Pliner. Like Alexander Kazakov, they are accused of organizing mass protests of schoolchildren against the Latvians of Russian educational institutions.

"I am demanded to expel from the country as a threat to national security. I only engage in the protection of Russian schools. It turns out that Russian schools threaten the country's security," said ITAR -TASS Alexander Kazakov.

Recently, the authorities are increasingly applying repressions against the defenders of Russian schools. The main "weapon" is endless monetary fines for violating the rules of public order.
