The killer of the Orthodox priest decided not to ask for forgiveness

On Monday, the Omsk Regional Court sentenced the case of the murder of the Hieromonk of the Kolosovsky rural church of saints Philip and Yakov Alexander. According to the correspondent of REGNUM, accused of the murder of Father Alexander (in the world of Oleg Anatolyevich Tyryshny), 24-year-old Alexander Konstantinov in the process pleaded guilty to the murder of a priest.

“I understand that I have committed a serious crime. I will not ask for forgiveness. I ask only to take into account that I repented and to mitigate the verdict,” said Alexander Konstantinov. In court, Konstantinov denied the mercenary motive of this murder. He claimed that he invited his father Alexander not for confession, but simply to talk about the problems that arose in his family life. But due to the fact that the priest began to try to turn him to God, they quarreled, and it was in a fit of quarrels that Konstantinov hit him with a knife. According to the defendant, the idea of ​​taking possession of the things and money of his father Alexander arose after him after his death. However, according to the court, these arguments are not true.

The murder of the 34-year-old abbot of the monastery of labor and mercy, faith, hope, love and mother of Sofia of the Omsk-Tar diocese occurred on the night of December 26 in the village of Kolosovka (Omsk Region). After extinguishing the fire in the dwelling, they found the body of the priest himself. Experts found that the death of the abbot came from several stab wounds. On the same day, the criminal investigators detained the killer. It turned out to be a previously convicted local resident. It was established that the criminal stabbed the priest, took his clothes, set fire to the apartment and disappeared.

The killer, the son of the district surgeon, Alexander Konstantinov, turned the murder into a whole performance, and into Catholic Christmas. On December 25 at 22:00 local time, he came to Father Alexander and asked him to profess him, but not in the church, but at his home. The apartment included three orphanages, one of whom periodically visited Konstantinov and even had the key to the front door. The owner explained to the guests that he will now have a conversation with a certain person who has large expensive crosses and gold chains, has a lot of money. The teenagers saw a knife in Konstantinov’s sleeve and began to persuade him not to use it. In response, the owner of the apartment invited them to wait for the completion of the conversation in the bathroom, where he locked the guys on a spinger.

When Konstantinov unlocked the door of the bathroom, they saw the father of Alexander, lying on the floor. He was still alive. When the priest groaned, Konstantinov rushed to him with curses and inflicted two more blows with a knife in the chest area. Burried from the teenagers what he saw, Konstantinov suggested robbing the church with him, pick up the icons and flee with church good in Omsk. But the teenagers returned to the orphanage.

Konstantinov took two crosses from yellow and gray metal, 3 thousand rubles, which Alexander's father had with him, then with pliers he tried to remove the yellow tooth crown, thinking that it was made of gold. Since he could not remove the crown, the criminal pulled it out with a fragment of the jaw. He set fire to the apartment.

Taking an ax and closing the apartment, Konstantinov headed for the church, where he prepared bags in advance to transport the stolen and candle to shine at night in the temple. On the way, he threw a knife. The church was closed to the castle, which stood even under the pressure of an ax. Then Konstantinov decided to break the window in the church library. But the dogs got on the noise of broken glass, the criminal from the window of the refectory was seen by a woman who helped housekeeping in the church. Konstantinov left, throwing bags and candles.

While Konstantinov was at the church, his neighbors saw smoke and called a fire brigade. In the apartment, the corpse of Father Alexander was discovered. Konstantinov entered the boiler room that night, where he offered the Cococerians to drink moonshine, but the workers refused. The criminal was detained at the house of his friend, where he hoped to spend the night.

The court sentenced Alexander Konstantinov to 16 years in prison with a sentence in a maximum security colony. The sentence did not enter into legal force and may be appealed in the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation. The state prosecutor in the process and representatives of the victim have already stated that they would not dispute the verdict of the Omsk Regional Court.
