On the territory of the North-East Administrative District of the capital, it is planned to form a modern hospitality zone on the basis of multi-case buildings of the construction of the 1950s. This implies the reconstruction of the current mid-level hotels (2-3 stars), the district of the district Irina Raber said, Interfax reports.

According to her, in the district there are 10 multi -body hotels for 4.8 thousand rooms with a total area of ​​16.5 hectares.

“Today in Moscow it is very difficult to find good areas for the construction of inexpensive hotels, and we are located in successful places, are associated with the metro and some historical places of the capital,” said Irina Raber.

After the reconstruction of the hotel, the category "2-3 stars", "But they will appear in modern fitness centers, pools, conference rooms, parking lots and other necessary services.

She gave an example: in the 50s, during the festival of youth and students, the military barracks adapted the festival of youth and students - this is how the tourist hotel appeared. “Naturally, there is not even a pool, not to mention conference rooms,” the prefect added.

According to her, the Ostankino Hotel will most likely demolish and in its place a modern economic class hotel with parking for 1,500 cars will be erected. The same fate may expect the Golden Kolos hotel.

“There are interesting offers for the Vostok Hotel (Vladykino metro station), today some of the hotels are already reconstructed,” said Raber.

She added that by the end of this year all proposals for the reconstruction of hotels of the North-Eastern District will be submitted to the meeting of the Moscow government.

The prefect also said that nine zones are determined in the district, which will be transformed into tourist-recreational zones. "In our district there are interesting and attractive routes for tourists," she said.

According to the prefecture, in total there are 27 hotels in the district for 8.5 thousand places.
