
The daughter of the former leader of Adjara Aslan Abashidze arrived in Moscow from Batumi. About this "Interfax" on Friday was informed by Aslan Abashidze.
According to him, the plane and his daughter Diana landed at one of the Moscow airports at about 19:00 Moscow time.
Touching upon the actions of the Georgian authorities in relation to his daughter, Aslan Abashidze said: "This applies not only to my loved ones, but also for the actions of the Georgian authorities in relation to those people who used to work with me: it is just absolute lawlessness."
Before departure, Diana Abashidze told reporters: "If law enforcement agencies have questions to me, then my lawyer Eka Beselia will answer them."
Earlier on Friday, the financial police of Adjara said that the investigating authorities do not interfere with the departure of the daughter of Aslan Abashidze Diana Abashidze from Batumi to Moscow.
As the representative of the financial police said, Diana Abashidze presents the investigation materials, according to which enterprises and firms issued in her name in Batumi have a debt to the state of about $ 22 million.
"If this debt is not covered, then all real estate and enterprises belonging to the Abashidze family will be sold at auction ," the financial police representative said.
Earlier, the Georgian financial police stated that the Abashidze family should return $ 45 million to the country's budget.
Meanwhile, on Friday, the Russian Foreign Ministry expressed concern in connection with the situation in Georgia around the daughter of the former leader of Adjara.
"The situation around Aslan Abashidze's daughter caused great concern among Moscow," said the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Yakovenko at a press conference on Friday in Moscow. According to him, in Russia they expect that Tbilisi will fulfill its assurances that there will be no persecution of the Abashidze family.
