Tony Blair believes that the weapons of the mass destruction of Hussein will not be found

British Prime Minister Tony Blair said on Tuesday that weapons of mass defeat (OMP), which allegedly had the regime of Saddam Hussein, may not be found.

At the same time, the British leader emphasized that, in his opinion, there was such a weapon in Iraq, and therefore Saddam Hussein posed a threat to the whole world.

“We know that Saddam Hussein had a weapon of mass defeat, but we did not find it,” Blair said, speaking to the British parliamentarians. “I must admit that we may not find him.”

Washington and London used allegations of Baghdad OMP as the main argument to justify his military invasion of Iraq. But for more than a year, the search for OMP for more than a year by coalition forces in Iraq did not give any results.

“To go to another extreme and say that no threat from Saddam Hussein did not proceed, it would be a mistake,” the British prime minister noted. “Saddam had the strategic possibilities of creating an OMP, had the intention to apply it and made numerous violations of the UN resolutions.”

The reserves of the OMP in Iraq, perhaps, were “transported, hidden or destroyed,” Blair suggested.
