Americans grow bananas with a taste of strawberries

The American company Chiquita International plans to engage in the sale of bananas with new tastes, for example, with the taste of strawberries, since, in her opinion, ordinary bananas have already bored with everyone.

Employees of Chiquita International hope that the new variety of bananas will attract many customers, Ananova reports with reference to Sky News.

The company does not yet say how they are going to change the bananas, but they assure that fruits will not be genetically modified.

“I have already seen about eight different varieties and tried four of them,” says Fernando Aguirre, head of Chiquita International. “Now we need to find out from our customers how much this experiment is really necessary and whether they want such bananas.”

New varieties of bananas with various fruit taste can be tried in Europe and America next year.
