The match in Khabarovsk took place in continuous rain, which, according to the team coaches, prevented the players from showing an interesting game. Despite the fact that Kaliningrad “Baltika” closes the standings and has no serious prospects of remaining in the first division, the hosts did not dare to field at least one of the eight newcomers announced the day before, the most famous of whom is the 31-year-old former goalkeeper of Smolensk “Kristall” Alexey Mitin.
The Khabarovsk team had a game advantage and created three good scoring chances, but only the guests scored in this meeting. The first goal was caused by a mistake by the hosts' defender Vladimir Pyatenko, who lost the ball in his own half of the field. Goalkeeper Dmitry Davydov parried the first shot directly onto the foot of visiting forward Andrei Grigoriev, who opened the scoring in the 13th minute.
The onslaught of the Khabarovsk team continued until the final whistle, but did not yield any results. Moreover, in the 84th minute, Kaliningrad striker Givi Gadelia scored the second and last goal in this meeting. As a result, SKA-Energia lost to the outsider at home - 0:2.
At a time when the Khabarovsk team missed the second goal, in Vladivostok the local Luch-Energia scored the winning goal against another outsider - Dynamo Bryansk, which ranks 18th in the standings. In the 84th minute of the match, Primorye forward Alexander Garin, who came on as a substitute in the second half, scored.
The 1:0 victory kept Luch-Energia in 12th place. Based on the results of the round, the Khabarovsk team dropped to 17th position. The day after tomorrow, the Far Eastern teams, separated by only three points, will exchange opponents.
